Sonic Network


Our youth and entertainment network covers over four million teenagers, students and young adults, comprises over forty sites - along with their e-mail and SMS databases - and covers a number of interrelated lifestyles and life stages, from mothers and young children, through school, higher education and gap years, to first jobs. Lifestyle activities include sport, music, film and tv, clubbing, mobile and community forums and chat rooms.

Additional interest areas are being added on an ongoing basis, which include covering older and more general demographics - including the over 50s audience.

Through the network, advertisers can reach over 4.5 million unique users per month, delivering over eighty million page impressions. Although advertisers often book individual sites, we also manage and deliver high volumes of creative across the network, balancing inventory at any given time throughout the campaign.

Sonic Internet TV


Sonic provides advertisers with a new online opportunity through the Sonic TV Network which is being rolled out across the digital network and bespoke TV sites will also come on line in 2008. The SonicTV network features exclusive content, including interviews and sessions filmed both by Sonic's own TV team and by sites themselves.

Advertising opportunities include pre and post roll and supporting digital formats working in conjunction with the video.

Bespoke Solutions


In addition to targeting the users which are already part of the Sonic network, we are able to provide solutions to specific briefs looking to target audiences online. We have covered briefs from a wide range of business areas - finance, film, fashion, broadband, travel, as well as specific communities and special interest groups.

E-mail


Increasingly advertisers are looking to incorporate e-mail as part of their online marketing mix. We have a bespoke, fully opt-in database of over two million 14-30 year olds from our network of teen and young adult sites, which is managed centrally by ourselves. One million of these are available for third party solus e-mails, and the full list is available for newsletter marketing inclusion. The network also includes 1.6 million fully opt-in adults. Our sales teams also have extensive experience of adding to their own lists by brokering additional demographics or counts as required. SMS is also available on a specific count basis.

We manage all tagging, despatch and reporting on behalf of advertisers through our esolutions technology.
